Tonight IAHS will host Tupelo for a rival game with the Golden Wave.

Last season IAHS defeated Tupelo 35-13, but the Golden Wave picked up Ashton Shumpert from IAHS during the off season.

Shumpert was a big part of IAHS' offense last season and he has already me an impact at Tupelo with three touchdowns during their week one win over New Hope. It should be fun to see how Shumpert plays against his former team.

IAHS is coming off a big win over Amory where senior quarterback Maikhail Miller threw accounted for all six of the Indians touchdowns.

Miller is VERY much the real deal, however, he cannot do it all(coach thinks he can). We will not win very many games against well rounded teams without a running game (other than QB) to keep defenses honest. The coaches have been unable to replace Ashton with even a decoy at RB. They MUST establish a running game other than QB Draw. O line is weak this year too, not giving him much time. He is almost always scrambling. If we get a decent RB and get better at blocking, we could go far, but not until then...this from a dedicated Indian Fan.
