On Monday night, the Tremont Lady Eagles hosted the Potts Camp Lady Cardinals. The game was close until the Lady Cardinals plated 7 runs in the final inning to win 12-1.

The Lady Cardinals took an early 1-0 lead on a passed ball and added to their lead when a run scored on an error.

After two innings, Potts Camp had a 2-0 lead but had only one hit. The Lady Cardinals added to their lead on a two run scoring double in the fourth and a RBI triple in the fifth.

Trailing 5-0, the Lady Eagles offense showed signs of life as Kari Lease and Lauren Graham hit back-to-back triples that plated a run.

The late Tremont offense wasn't enough as Potts Camp plated seven runs in the seventh inning to take a 12-1 lead.

Potts Camp had only eight hits in the game but capitalized on the eight Tremont errors to pick up the 12-1 win.
