Itawamba County’s Circuit Court saw 28 people during the June session with all receiving convictions and sentences except for one whose case was retired.

• Rafael Mazel Shumpert, 109 Cowley Road, Nettleton, entered a plea of guilty to two counts controlled substance violations. He was sentenced by Judge Thomas J. Gardner III to serve a total of 40 years with 20 years suspended and five years probation on ISP/HA.

Shumpert was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus restitution and court costs.

• Michael D. Price, 1074 CR 193, Blue Springs, entered a plea of guilty to controlled substance violations. He was sentenced by Gardner to 20 years, with 5 years probation on ISP/HA, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and restitution fees.

• Barbara Vernett Mitchell, 90 Fairview School Road, Golden, entered a plea of guilty to one count controlled substance violations and one count conspiracy. She was sentenced by Gardner to a total of 40 years, with all time suspended, and five years of probation. She was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and a restitution fee.

• Jimmy L. Christopher, 560 North Ritter Road, Nettleton, entered a plea of guilty to controlled substance violations. He was sentenced by Gardner to 20 years with five years probation on ISP/HA. Additionally, Christopher was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and a restitution fee.

• Joseph Allen Graham, 9030 School Road, Golden, entered a plea of guilty to one count controlled substance violations and one count conspiracy. He was sentenced by Gardner to 20 years per charge with all time suspended and five years on probation. He was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fee plus a restitution fee and court costs.

• Vicky Lynn Scott, 211 Ivie Lane, Mantachie, entered a plea of guilty to controlled substance violations. She was sentenced by Judge Paul Funderburk to 20 years with all time suspended.

On a second charge, Scott pleaded guilty to controlled substance violations and was sentenced to 20 years, with five years probation and ISP/HA. She was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine, court costs, a restitution fee and other costs. Her sentence is currently under judicial review.

• Tamara M. Rausch, 1754 Highway 145, Guntown, entered a plea of guilty to controlled substance violations. She was sentenced by Funderburk to 20 years with all time suspended plus five years probation. She was also ordered to pay a $500 fee plus court costs and a restitution fee.

• Billy Joe Graham, entered a guilty plea to one count controlled substance violations and one count conspiracy. He was sentenced by Funderburk to 20 years for each charge with 20 of those years suspended and five years probation on ISP/HA.

Graham was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine in addition to court costs and a restitution fee. His sentence is currently under judicial review.

• Tommy E. Morse, 12 Kennedy Drive, Tremont, entered a guilty plea to conspiracy. He was sentenced by Funderburk to 20 years with five years probation on ISP/HA. He has also been ordered to pay a $500 fee in addition to court costs and restitution.

• Andrea Leigh Lozier, 32850 Highway 25 North, Golden, entered a plea of guilty to one count of felonious abuse and/or battery of a child. She was sentenced by Funderburk to 10 years with five years probation. She was also ordered to attend RID and pay a $1,000 fine in addition to court costs and restitution. Her sentence is currently under judicial review. She is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

• Tracy Lynn Lindsey, 12 Kennedy Drive, Tremont, entered a plea of guilty to one count controlled substance violations. She was sentenced by Funderburk to 20 years with 15 years suspended, five years to be served and five years probation.

On a second charge, Lindsey pleaded guilty to possession of precursor chemicals and was sentenced to five years with all time to be served. Her sentences are to run consecutively. She has also been ordered to attend alcohol and drug treatment and GED courses, as well as a $1,000 fine in addition to court costs and restitution. She is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

• Ronald A. Mueller, 1118 South Clifton Street, Fulton, entered a plea of guilty to conspiracy. He was sentenced by Funderburk to 20 years with five years probation on ISP/HA. He was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine in addition to court costs and restitution. His sentence is currently under judicial review.

• Brittany N. Whitt, 1118 South Clifton, Fulton, entered a guilty plea to conspiracy. She was sentenced by Funderburk to 20 years with five years probation on ISP/HA. She was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine in addition to court costs and restitution. Her sentence is currently under judicial review.

• Michael Enis Watson, 2404 Marion Street, Tupelo, entered a plea of guilty to felonious abuse and/or battery of a child. He was sentenced by Gardner to 20 years with 10 years suspended, 10 years to be served and five years probation. He was also ordered to attend alcohol and drug treatment and testing and pay a $1,000 fine in addition to court costs and restitution. He is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.
