Three arrested in county drug busts

Itawamba County law enforcement officers have arrested three individuals accused of attempting to manufacture or sell crystal methamphetamine.

- Jim Alfred Deloach, 39, of 53 Gregory Drive, Mantachie, was arrested on Jan. 28 and charged with possession of the precursors in the manufacture of methamphetamine and attempt to manufacture methamphetamine. He is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail awaiting his initial appearance before a justice court judge.

According to Itawamba County Sheriff Chris Dickinson, Deloach was arrested as part of an undercover operation in the Fawn Grove area.

- Eugene Parker, 51, of 250 County Road 227, Houston, was arrested on Jan. 30 and charged with two counts possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.

Parker was arrested as part of an undercover bust in the Shiloh area. He is currently being held without bond in the Itawamba County Jail.

- Brandon Ray Johnson, 26, of 1785 River Road, Peppertown, was arrested on Jan. 31 and charged with attempt to manufacture crystal methamphetamine.

According to Dickinson, Johnson was arrested as part of an early morning raid with the Fulton Police Department and Special Operations Group.

The sheriff said Johnson was on house arrest at the time of his arrest and is being held without bond in the Itawamba County Jail
