A special Rapid Response Orientation Session will be held for the laid off workers from Hickory Hills Furniture Corp. of Fulton, according to the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.
The session will be held Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the Itawamba Community College Fulton Campus in the 6500 Fine Arts Building.
Representatives of the Mississippi Department of Employment Security, Mississippi WIN Job Center and Itawamba Community College will be there to give you information on:
* Job Placement Assistance and Retraining Opportunities
* Children's Health Insurance program (CHIP)
* Resume Assistance
* Information on your Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) and Alternative Trade Adjustment Assistance (ATAA) benefits and,
* Health Care Tax Credit
