Larry Middlebrooks, 48, of 224 Standifer Walls Road, Fulton, was arrested by Fulton police officers on Wednesday, Nov. 18, after reportedly stabbing a coworker at Tri-State Lumber in Fulton. He was charged with aggravated assault.
Paramedics transported the victim, Michael Paul Morrow, 34, 1580 Standifer Walls Road, Fulton, to North Mississippi Medical Center, where he was treated for three stab wounds. He has since been released from the hospital.
Employees with Tri-State Lumber Company contacted police following the incident.
Middlebrooks fled the scene, but was arrested while attempting to travel back to the scene to turn himself over to authorities.
During his initial appearance before Itawamba County Justice Court Judge Gerald Wallace, Middlebrooks’ bond was set at $5,000. He is currently out of jail awaiting his appearance before the county’s Grand Jury.
