BALDWYN – Doris Sue Wiginton 62, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at East Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Adams officiating. Burial was in the Kirkville cemetery. Waters Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her mother, Nellie Rue Wiginton of Baldwyn; one sister, Patti Woten (Danny) of Baldwyn; nieces and nephews, Danny Woten Jr. of Baldwyn, Jacob Woten of Baldwyn, Michelle Brito (Jesus) of Racine, Wis., Amber Brothen of Mt. Washington , Ky.; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandon, Jeffrey, Jordan, Nikos, Dominik, Alysha and Daija; uncles and aunt, Elton Wiginton (Alene) of Golden, Hazel Kitchens of Kirkville community and Paul Gardner (Reba) of the Ozark community.
Eva Tucker
TUPELO – Eva Lois Key Tucker, 77, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at the Dogwood Plantation Assisted Living Facility in Fulton. She was born Dec. 25, 1932, in Dorsey to Ruel and Mauvline Dozier Bennett. She had worked for Hunter-Sadler Garment Factory and Brookwood Furniture Company. She was a Pentecostal. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and growing flowers.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Burial was in the Zion Cemetery in Pontotoc County.
Survivors include an adopted son, Terry Key; three brothers, Sammy Bennett (Nell) of Friendship, Bobby Bennett (Irene) and Joe Bennett (Anne), both of Fulton; a sister, Emma Etoyle Umfress of Fulton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Key; her second husband, Tommy Tucker; her parents; one brother, J.C. Bennett; and two sisters, Mary Evelyn Bennett and Thelma Simmons.
