Sentences handed down in Itawamba County circuit court

Itawamba County’s Circuit Court heard from 23 people during the June session with all receiving convictions. This is first part of a two-part story detailing their sentencing. Part two will be published in next week’s edition of The Times.

• Silas S. Carroll, 110 Underwood Circle, Apt. 117, Alabama, entered a plea of guilty to possession of precursor chemicals. She was sentenced by Judge Paul Funderburk to serve 20 years with all time suspended and to serve 5 years on probation. She was fined $1,000 plus court cost.

On a second charge, Carroll pleaded guilty to sale of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 20 years with all time suspended. Both sentences are to run concurrently.

• Bradley Thomas, 125 Rodgers Road, Fulton, entered a plea of guilty to grand larceny of an individual property valued at more than $250. He was sentenced by Judge Funderburk to 10 years, nine of which are suspended and one year to be served. He was also fined $500 in addition to restitution and court costs. He is currently in Itawamba County Jail.

• Bobby lee McCullough, 542 CR 4101, New Site, entered a plea of guilty to burglary of a dwelling. He was sentenced by Judge Funderburk to 20 years with 5 years probation. He is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

McCullough was fined $500 plus court costs and restitution fees.

• Rodney Rogers, 112 CR 14 Belmont, entered a plea of guilty to the manufacture of crystal methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 20 years by Judge Funderburk, five to be served, 15 suspended and five years probation. He was also ordered to undergo alcohol/drug treatment and to take GED classes. He is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

Rogers was fined $1,000 plus court costs and restitution fees, which he has been ordered to pay through the restitution center.

• Billy McCullough, 542 CR 4101, New Site, entered a plea of guilty to burglary of a dwelling. He was sentenced under RID to 20 years by Judge Funderburk and is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail pending judicial review.

Additionally, McCullough was fined $500 along with restitution fees and court costs.

• Mikell Kilpatrick, 583 Starling Road, Mantachie, entered a plea of guilty to burglary of a dwelling. He was sentenced to 20 years with five years on probation by Judge James L. Roberts. He is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

Kilpatrick was fined $1,000 plus restitution fees and court costs.

• Fanone Keith Huddleston, 50 Weatherspoon Road, Fulton, entered a plea of guilty to burglary of a vehicle, train, boat or building other than a dwelling. He was sentenced to seven years by Judge Roberts, with four years suspended and three years to be served.

On a second charge, Huddleston pleaded guilty to the sale of a controlled substance within proximity of a school, church or park. He was sentenced to 20 years, with 15 years suspended, five years to be served and five years probation, all of which will run consecutively. He is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

In addition to his sentence, Huddleston was ordered to pay a total of $2,000 in fines, plus restitution fees and court costs.

• JESSICA BLUE DILLARD, 95 Riner Street, Mantachie, entered a plea of guilty to the sale of a controlled substance within proximity of a school, church or park. She was sentenced by Judge Roberts to 20 years with five years probation. She must serve one year under house arrest then return to court. If she’s successful in completing her house arrest, the remaining years will be suspended; otherwise, she serves the full sentence.

On a second charge, Dillard pleaded guilty to the sale of an controlled substance within proximity of a school, church or park. She was sentenced to an additional 20 years, with all time suspended.

On a third charge, Dillard pleaded guilty to the sale of an controlled substance within proximity of a school, church or park. She was sentenced to an additional 20 years, with all time suspended.

On a fourth charge, she pleaded guilty to the sale of an controlled substance within proximity of a school, church or park. She was sentenced to an additional 20 years, with all time suspended.

All four sentences are to run concurrently. She is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

Dillard was also ordered to pay a $4,000 fine, plus restitution and court costs.

• Brandon Hayes, 356 Belk Bottom Road, Detroit, Ala., entered a plea of guilty to conspiracy. Judge Roberts sentenced him to 20 years, with 17 years suspended, three years to be served and an additional five years on probation, all of which are to run concurrently with sentences issued in Lee County.

Additionally, Hayes was fined $1,000, plus ordered to pay both restitution and court fees. He is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

• Lionel Neil, 505 East Bankhead, Fulton, entered a plea of guilty to burglary of a dwelling. He was sentenced by Judge Roberts to 20 years with 15 years suspended, five years to be served and five years on probation. He is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

Neil was also ordered to pay a fine of $1,000, in addition to court costs and restitution fees.

• Johnny L. White, 665 West Evans Mill Road, Fulton, entered a plea of guilty to accessory after the fact. He was sentenced by Judge Roberts to five years, all of which are to be served.

On a second charge, White pleaded guilty to possession of crystal methamphetamine. He was sentenced to eight years, with three years suspended and five years to be served, with all incarceration time to be served concurrently with sentences issued in Chickasaw County. He is currently being held in the Itawamba County Jail.

Additionally, White was fined a total of $2,000, which he will pay in addition to court costs and restitution fees.
