Journal, Inc., recently made reorganization changes in the Circulation Business Unit to better serve its customers and Northeast Mississippi, according to Clay Foster, Journal president and publisher.

Itawamba County Times' General Manager Alisha Wilson has been named circulation sales manager, a new position in circulation. Wilson has been with Journal, Inc. for 13 years, and she has been the general manager of The Times for the past six years. She and Michael King, circulation manager, will be co-leaders of the Circulation Business Unit in the Tupelo office, effective September 1.

"Alisha has done a great job leading The Times, and we're confident that she will have that same success in her new position working closely with Michael and other circulation team members," Foster said.

"In this new position, Alisha's primary responsibility is to ensure we achieve overall circulation sales and service objectives for the Daily Journal and our Community Newspaper group," he added.

amp"I owe a great debt to this newspaper for the friendships it has provided me over the past 13 years. The Times has allowed me to reach out to so many people in this community and to get to know them through their stories. This newspaper has become my second home and the staff my family. I will miss them both very much. It's a bittersweet time, but I look forward to the opportunities ahead and continuing my work with a company such as Journal Inc.,amp" Wilson said.

Wilson is a 1998 graduate of IAHS, a 2000 graduate of Itawamba Community College and a 2002 graduate from the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in journalism. She is married to Chad Wilson, and they have three children, Abby, Paden and Caleb.

Charlotte Wolfe, associate publisher for human resources, will assume the role of interim general manager until a new GM is hired for The Times.
