Police are seeking two suspects accused of stabbing a man in Fulton, Wednesday night.

According to Lt. Brad Rogers with the Fulton Police Department, Miguel and Fernando Perez are both sought for questioning in connection with an attack on 26-year-old Fernando Garcia. Garcia was reportedly stabbed with a knife several times during a fight at the Sands Motel, 603 East Main Street, at approximately 9 p.m. Wednesday night.

The two suspects fled the scene in a blue, 16-passenger van, presumably heading toward Arkansas, from which Rogers said they claim residency.

Garcia was airlifted to the North Mississippi Medical Center where he remains in stable condition.

Rogers said the incident is still under investigation.
